Launch the 9th National Selection and Commendation Activity for Role Models of Morality

Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, November 19 — To vigorously cultivate and practice the core socialist values, promote traditional Chinese virtues, and foster a new ethos and image for our times, the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Office of the CPC Central Committee for Spiritual Civilization Development, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the Communist Youth League Central Committee, the All-China Women's Federation, and the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission recently issued the "Notice on the Selection and Commendation of the Ninth National Moral Models" (the full text is released separately) along with implementation guidelines. This notice outlines the launch of the ninth round of selection and commendation of National Moral Models, calling for extensive publicity and learning activities centered on moral role models, guiding people to admire, learn from, and strive to become moral role models themselves, thereby fostering a robust social atmosphere characterized by reverence for virtue, emulation of the virtuous, and the pursuit of goodness and integrity.
